The following is an update on the activities that took place during the month of February for our organization. Here’s a summary of the key events:

1.  Official Registration of the Organization:

• Successfully registered the organization as Climate Care CBO.
• Opened a bank account, requiring travel between Mombasa and Kinango.
• Received the first swift money transfer of one thousand Sterling Pounds for office setup.

2.      Office Setup:

• Met with the landlord and paid 60,000 Kenyan Shillings for three months’ rent (February, March, and April).

3.      Meeting with Members:

• Convened a meeting with a few members to discuss the upcoming visit of Smile Kenya representatives to Kenya.

4.      Alumni Contact Search:

• Conducted a search for contacts of the alumni of Matt and Rebecca for potential collaboration or support.

We are making significant progress in establishing our office and are excited about the opportunities ahead.
